Everything looks awesome except for that camera. I hate it when games have that dynamic camera that slides all over the place when you turn.

I was seriously impressed by the sound of the engine. I just hope it’s not just for the cinematic trailer.

The handling seemed very arcade-y. Not a problem for me, but it’ll make too many people angry.

Exactly! Some of the things that made NFSU 1 and 2, Carbon and Most Wanted so great was the arcade racing and handling.

EA will screw it somehow. We just don’t know how yet.

They do have live action cutscenes with SUPER COOL DOODZ though, so that part of the experience will be intact.

I’m glad Need for Speed is embracing car culture trends, like it or not, fender flares and stance are here to stay for awhile and its good to see games reflecting that. This has all the makings of a great game: in-depth customization, large open world, solid presentation, and Porsche. Count me excited.

God those things are cringeworthy. It’s like they took some of the Fast and Furious screenwriters, but instead of picking the good ones, they take the ones that write things like “Danger to manifold".

Yeah, that’s true.

Apparently the story mode will depend heavily on some personalities like Magnus Walker, Ken Block, etc. Hopefully it’s not too heavily tied down to that to turn the game into Dirt 3.
